Located behind the police station in Hunter's Valley - Altinkum. It is less than a ten minute walk to the main beach. Situated close to the local restaurants, bars, supermarkets and shops. Today's Didim is a rapidly growing holiday resort compared to the other resorts of Turkey. Altinkum is totally different to what it used to be 10-15 years ago. About 15 years ago, the people from large cities around Turkey such as Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir first came to Altinkum and started to build their own summer houses, holiday homes, apartments, villas, duplexes and triplexes. During the day you can relax on one of its three beaches. The main beach, or first beach is the largest of its beaches and has a promenade of shops, bars, hotels, restaurants and night clubs. The Second beach is to the left of the main beach, this is much smaller but still has its own bars and restaurants. The Third beach area is beyond the luna park and is the smaller of the three beaches. This is a quiet beach with a few restaurants which are right on the beach.
